Former Social Work Student Files Title IX Suit Against Wayne State University
A student dismissed from Wayne State University's social work graduate program has filed a Title IX lawsuit against the school, alleging that it discriminated against her because she was pregnant and unwed, reports The Huffington Post. The former student, Tina Varlesi, is also suing the Salvation Army alleging that it wrongfully terminated her internship.
