Wickliffe, Ohio: City Bans Collecting Initiative Petition Signatures in Community/Senior Center

Wickliffe, Ohio, bans people from collecting signatures for initiative petitions in the community/senior center even though it allows people to set up informational tables to engage in non-disruptive expressive activities. FIRE wrote to Wickliffe on December 16, 2025, to explain that the city may not arbitrarily prohibit people from engaging in expressive activities no more disruptive than the activities it allows.
