Ronnie Rivera
Ronnie Rivera is FIRE’s Senior Animator and Motion Graphics Producer. In this role, he brings FIRE’s free speech stories to life with digital and hand-drawn animation and motion design.
Prior to his current role, Ronnie created short films, social media videos, and digital ads for political campaigns and nonprofit organizations, including the Center for American Progress and the Knight Foundation.
A Miami native, Ronnie’s creative career began as an event photographer capturing local punk shows and political actions. Ronnie’s original filmography includes The Sun Like a Big Dark Animal, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival, and Adventures of Christopher Bosh in the Multiverse!, which earned him his first cease and desist.
Ronnie loves investigative journalism, podcasts, and video essays. Outside of work, Ronnie enjoys cooking, playing video games and board games, and watching football.
