Jacob Gaba
Jacob returned to FIRE after joining the organization as a Hellman Fellow in the summer of 2024. Jacob, a native of Washington, D.C., graduated from The George Washington University Law School with honors in 2025. In law school, Jacob served as Notes Editor for the Federal Communications Law Journal, where he focused his research on state compelled disclosure laws for social media companies. During law school, Jacob also worked for Ambassador Norman Eisen (retired) on constitutional issues relating to then-former President Donald Trump’s indictments. Jacob also obtained a B.A. in history from Haverford College, where he served as captain of the college’s cross country and track program. Jacob continues to compete in long distance road races and enjoys running in D.C.’s Rock Creek Park.
