Claire Ottenstein
Passionate about ideas and free speech, Claire joined FIRE after graduating from Swarthmore College with honors in philosophy and psychology. While at Swarthmore, Claire contributed poetry to Small Craft Warnings, worked as a DJ at the WSRN college radio station, and presented on “safetyism” at the 2023 Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies Conference in Seattle. She spent three summers in Washington, D.C., as a fellow at Hudson Institute and an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the D.C. Superior Court. Claire enjoys reading, practicing ballet, and spending time in nature.
