South Haven, Michigan: Ordinance Limits Number of Yard Signs to Four

The city of South Haven, Michigan, restricts residents to only four yard signs. On February 4, FIRE wrote to the city planning commission outlining the constitutional problems with restricting the number of signs residents can display. On June 2, 2025, the city council approved an ordinance removing the numerical limit.
