Simulate > Modify Map > Set Stop Location

Stop locations can be identified on the landscape so that if the simulated fire perimeter reaches the stop location the simulation will be suspended. Stop locations can be set ahead of the fire perimeter any time the simulation is suspended.

Selecting this command changes the cursor into an octagon shape when it is over the "Landscape" window. Left mouse clicks will then set stop locations identified by small "stop signs" on the landscape.

When the fire surrounds any of the stop locations the following message appears.

Once a stop location triggers a message, it is disabled until the simulation is restarted, when all stop locations are then enabled again.
